I am a traveller and going around watching different places is my hobby. I am a wanderer and free soul. I love cars and they are my best companion in long run. I have travelled long places and so many of them and I have travelled most of them in my car. However i don’t travel in a heard but it’s just me my hubby and my lovely car.

Whenever I travel and wherever I travel I do that by road and I am very peculiar about my car. Talking about cars I love small cars not the big ones because i like to travel light. I came across this beautiful small yet elegant car few days ago. It is a new launch by Datsun and the wonder car is  The ultimate Urban Cross - Datsun redi-GO . This is a must buy car. I have become a big fan of this car. I like everything the car has. It is a great fusion of crossover and urban hatchback and offers the best of the both type.

Talking about the car let’s get into its unique features. The interior of the car is beautiful. It has been given a sporty and classy interior design. The interior is overall spacious. It can accommodate five persons easily and also can carry their luggages with ease. The dash board has been given a modern and classy look. It has a computer which keeps you informed about everything that you need to know. The seats have been built to provide great comfort to the driver and the fellow passengers and if the best fit for a long drive run. It also comes with a built in audio system. The car has power windows and in short it has everything that a modern car has. It is the best I have yet seen.

That was all about the interior now let’s see what it offers in the exterior. The exterior has been given a Yukan design and has the forward styling of a crossover. The car has a smooth and sleek silhouette, it has lean and dynamic side character line and it has a sporty and beautiful look. It has a beautiful D cut grill which gives it a classy look. The car comes with a very smart and efficient performance. It has a fuel economy of 25.17 kmpl so now you can stay more on the road and your card can run longer. The car has an I-sat engine which has the ability to adjust the spark timing of the engine according to the food quality and power requirements. It has been built to take small turning radius. It has performance augmented brakes too. The car comes with well guarded safe driving technology. It has power starring and makes the drive very easy.

The car has been design all according to my needs I would say and I would prefer to buy it for my long drives. It is a modern world and we need modern cars and this is definitely one of it. The car is launching very soon in the market be ready to rock your world, i am ready to rock mine.   

Vacation! Yes any time!

A vacation is all I need to refresh my mind and soul. Yes you may consider me a wandering soul because I simply love to go around. I have traveled a lot of places and they all were in India since this month I got a chance for an international trip. It was a surprise gift from Mr. Hubby on our 5th anniversary. He planned a trip to Pattaya. Yes you head me right. It was the sea calling and I couldn’t deny. 
It was a 4 days and 3 night’s vacation. Mr. Hubby had planned the trip well keeping every single detail in mind. He told me that we were going to Shimla as usual this year too and our flight would leave on 13th evening. 14th was a spare day and 15th was the “D” day. I was excited, like I said you earlier I am a wayfarer soul and travelling is my passion. Though it was a surprise for me I didn’t know about his plans until we reached the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose airport and instead of going to the domestic airport he asked the cab to stop at the international airport. He is a genius I had no clue when did he get the tickets and when did he took out my passport out of the almira. I was on the 9th cloud and the excitement of going for an International vacation was the real head Turner for me. 

We reached the airport and first located our airlines we were travelling by. It was Thai Airways we were travelling by. We got our luggage scanned and submitted it to the airline counter. The very next thing was getting our currency exchanged. We exchanged our Rupees to Bhatt.  Then we took our boarding pass and moved to immigration. We got our handbags and laptop bag checked at the security counter and now we were both personally and legally ready to fly to Bangkok, Pattaya. 

We were going to and at Suvarnabhumi International Airport at Bangkok and we were supposed to get our VISAS on arrival. The itenary for the rest of the trip was as follows. 

Day 1 
Check in at the Monna’s Place, Chan buri after pickup from the airport. The evening was free and we were free to wander around and explore the new city. 

Day 2 
8:00 am pickup from the hotel to the beach. Where a speed boat was supposed to drop us at the water sports activity dock. 

12:00 pm pickup from the dock and drop to the Coral Island and lunch.

14:00 pickup from the island drop to the hotel. Rest of the time was free time for us. And in this free time we roamed around tasting the Thai cuisine and hopping the street bazars. We also visited the “Walking Street” and I got a splendid foot massage too and then we called it a day.

Day 
3 8:00 Pickup from the hotel for the city tour, Visit to the Gem Gallery, Lunch by the noon in an Indian restaurant and finally visit to the Pattaya tower. The Pattaya tower was a 55 store building. We got an opportunity to take a full view of the Pattaya city and the Sea. We also did the tower jump from the 55^th floor of the tower. 
18:00 drop back to the hotel.

18:30 pickup from the hotel for the world famous “Alcazar Show” and then dinner and finally drop to the hotel.

Day 4 10:00 Pickup from the Hotel. Check out and drop to the airport.

These four days were so amazing and we enjoyed them at the fullest. It was an amazing experience to wander shop and visit a different country. All the credit goes to him for the trip and it was the best anniversary ever. I will definitely have more of international vacations soon.

We humans are social beings and love to socialize be it the neighbor next door or a friend we make on the social networking site or someone from our own family. We love to meet new people in our lives. We interact and share our view with the and when we do so we sometimes influence a lot people and sometimes we get influenced too.  We sometimes admire some people we meet and know in our lives and try to understand the way they live their lives and we also try to follow their foot prints. They leave a deep impact on our lives and we follow them as our ideal.

I too have people in my life who have influenced me more or less but there is this special person who is my hero and I really admire his abilities and in my eyes he is all #madeofgreat and that person is none other than my Daddy. Daddy I love you and I owe my life to him, well that's ironical because I literally owe my life to him well keeping the jokes apart all I want to say is that my Dad has been a great influence in my life.

I always try to live by the rules and the method that has been taught by him. If I fall in to a situation I can’t handle I just imagine him to be in that situation and try to think what he would do to overcome the situation. The main rule that he follows and has taught me that Simplicity is the Ultimate sophistication and the truth is always powerful then the lie and it really doesn’t matter how bitter of hard the truth maybe but it is always lighter than the bundle of lies we tell to cover up a simple lie. I always try to follow his mantras and life really seems to be a lot easier to me. There are few more ethics like self believe, being trustworthy, being reliable and perfection that I admire in my father and that is why I proudly say that my father is all #madeofgreat.  

Tata Motors a name which has a very good fame and popularity in the Indian market has also tries to move its level of Excellency a bit further and has become more reliable, trustworthy and perfect. Lionel Messi other well known and famous figure has become the new brand ambassador of the Tata Motors and Messi himself is a very huge icon who has everything good in him be it perfection, stability, stagnancy or trustworthy. India is known for its rich heritage and culture. This richness of our motherland is due to the citizens who live here and although being from different states, place or religion they never forget the mantra of unity and equality.We are also known for our festivals that we celebrate. I love all the festivals but Diwali is my favorite one and I am literally crazy for this festival. Diwali is commonly known as the festival of light. It is yet again a reminder that it really doesn’t matters how powerful evil is it can’t spread its darkness because at the end it is the good which spreads its light. Diwali too signifies the same. The festival brought home Rama after defeating Ravana who kidnapped Sita rama’s wife who were on a 14 years of exile. He defeated the evil and won back his wife and the day he returned to Ayodhya people lighted lamps and candles in his welcome and thus we too do the same.

Well these were the stories and history but I have my own reason to celebrate this festival. Firstly I love lights and togetherness. The festival is full of lights indeed and it also brings home lots of friends and families who are scattered here and there working in different part of the country. It is also the time when we are on the verge of entering the winters which happens to be my favorite season but the main reason of liking this festival is the pomp and the splendors it is celebrated with.

I like the lighting that we put up at our house and especially the earthen pots that are burnt with oil are my favorite. I am not too much into fire crackers because it causes noise and air pollution but instead I like a peaceful Diwali. I don’t light crackers at all. I like to decorate with my house with colorful lights like a Multi colored magic candle or multi colored rice bulbs that we get from the market.

The festival always falls on a no moon night thus there are no natural star or moon lights available thus lightings like Pretty shadow are fabulous items for decoration. Diwali brings lots of light to my life and I eagerly wait for this festival. The love we get from our elders and the gifts too are simply awesome. We get to eat good dishes and sweets after the puja. Diwali is also the day we worship Lord Ganesh and Goddess Laxmi and also in some part of India this very day is celebrated as the Kali Puja especially in the West Bengal region.  

In short Diwali is one of the biggest festivals in India and is celebrated all around. Mother's Lesson For My Life

“Ye toh sach hai ki Bhagwan hai, hai magr phir bhi anjan hai, Dhrti per up maa baap ka, Ush Bidhata ki pehchan hai.”

We Indians have a very strong cultural impact on our kids, Life teaches us that our parents are our first God and Goddess and we solemnly agree to that point and follow it till our last breath. That is what we know and that is what has been taught to us. But did we ever witness or try to find out that how correct is this statement? Well I have. And to my surprise the person which we finally mould into is a structure that has been given by our parents. The values and ethics of our life are what they have taught us. Although the final decision to whether or not to follow them is completely in our hands. It is our parents who work harder and harder to give us a good life and to secure our future well.

But there comes a time when our parents teach us to be self reliable so that when we are in need we can take a perfect stand in our life without waiting for someone to help us. They just let us go and not because they do not care but because they want us to be self-reliant although they have an eye on us and are ready to lend a hand when needed. This is something that I have witnessed in my own life. And I understood it later that it was not that they did not cared about me but they wanted me to be self dependable.

In my life this role was played by my mom. My story goes back to the time when I was a student and was studying in sixth standard. I was a good student always had good grades in my class but there was a small problem. And the problem was that my mumma had to poke me every day to remind me that I should be studying instead of playing or just wasting my time. I was so used to it that I always waited for her instruction to get down at my study table. I was in a habit of that although mumma used to scold me every day for this. She always used to ask me that when I knew that the study hours have begun then why I wait for her instructions to start my studies. And frankly speaking I had no idea why I always waited for her to ask me to study. I literally had no idea that this habit of mine has become a headache for her and she was ready to let me go.

It was during my midterm class tests, these were the tests which were conducted by the school to check the progress of the students before the midterm examinations. Students who did not score well in these tests were marked by the teachers and were given special attention in the class. So here is what my mumma did to teach me to be self-reliant.

I informed my mumma that the tests were going to begin fromMonday and I had Sanskrit and Hindi testes on Monday. I informed her because I wanted her to keep poking me and asking me to study Sanskrit and Hindi because these were two most lengthy papers in my syllabus. But to my surprise mumma did not ask me to study for the whole day. I thought that It was Saturday and I had Sunday so mumma will ask me to study the next day. The next day began and still no sign or gesture from mom to start studying. And by the evening I was so restless. I wanted to study but mumma did not ask me to. I was so terrified and was going to be in lot of trouble because I did not even touch my textbooks. It was 7 pm when I realized that now I should start studying whether or not my mumma asks me to do so. I sat with my books till 1 in the morning and tried to gasp the important topics so that I do not submit a blank copy tomorrow.

I did not do so well in my tests but yes I learned a lesson a very big lesson in my life and that lesson was of being self dependable. I did not need my mumma’s scolding or yelling from that day. I was an attentive student now who knew when to study and when to play. I did great in my midterm exams and made my parents proud again. Mumma promised me to buy a new bicycle if I kept my grades in the final term and to her expectations I did and got a new red lady bird cycle as a gift.

That day if my mother had not let me go and would have kept running behind me for my studies I would not have become self-reliant. So directly or indirectly I was my mumma who was the reason and is the reason behind my every success. Our parents try to shape a good future for us and try to mould us into a good person and they do not leave any stone unturned for that. Life is too short to wait for the second chance

We live, we eat, we love, we dream, we laugh, we cry and at the end we die. Doesn’t the life have a pattern of its own? Everything has its timing and falls into places when the right time arrives? Maybe it does. But there is something which more or less follows the pattern we design for them. Sometimes these pattern work and sometimes they don’t. And when they don’t work for us we put those work on a waiting list, waiting for the right opportunity to strike our door so that we can grab it with our both hands and fulfils our dreams. In simpler words we wait for the life to give us a second chance to live and fulfill our dreams. But the biggest question is that what if the life is not in mood of providing us with a second chance to live that particular moment that we wanted to live, that we have dreamt of? It is just a matter of fact that life does not always present us with a second chance, so why to put our dreams aside and wait for the second chance to live them? Why not now? Why later? Why to wait for the future which is unknown.  Maybe you don’t get a second chance at all.

The story goes same for me as well. I have a lot of dreams that I want to live but because of some reasons or others those dreams have been put aside and I am too waiting for the life to present me with a second chance.  But given an opportunity there are few things on the waiting list that I would love to do now, right now without waiting for the second chance. And some of those things are scribbled down here which I want to do.

The first thing which comes to my mind is a trip to Vail Mountains, Colorado, USA, with my Family. This family trip has been on my mind since a long long time. The trip has been planned and canceled so many times that I have even forgotten the exact count. Vail being a cold place and a job spot of my hubby is the most desirable place of visit for the family but lack of long holidays has always put this on the waiting list.

Diamonds, Diamonds and diamonds. The second thing on my list. It is always a good tuning between a diamond and a woman. No one knows these stones well than a woman. They share an eternal bond between them and this bond is hard to understand. I too share the same passion and bond for the stone but I have always wanted to have a full caret diamond set in my wardrobe. This has been on my list since I was 16. But there are a lot of things that stands between us and this dream of mine shatters itself always.

The list is a bit long but I would like to put forward one last thing from it and that would be a meet the Big B. Yes you got it is Mr. Amitab Bachchan. I am a die had fan of Mr. Bachchan, have grown up watching his hits and always had a dream of meeting this legend. I know this dream is way too big and has no guarantee to be fulfilled but yet if I get an opportunity I would love to meet Mr. Bachchan and shake hand with him saying that I am his die hard fan and always will be.

Fight Pimples With Garnier

Mera tujhse hai pehle ka naata koi. That is what pimples keep singing to me. While I was young Mumma used to say that these pimples are the sign that I was saying bye to ma childhood and was entering the adulthood. But Gosh I was unaware that this sign of adulthood was going to cost me a lot. I would have never grownup if I had known that these pimples were waiting for me. Mai toh kisi ko muh dikhane k kabil hin nai rehgai. These pimples are the biggest enemy that a girl can have. A small round bump on the smooth face is all it takes to destroy your happiness. And guess what these pimples have so perfect timing that they occur just a day before some good occasion or ceremony that you need to attend. I don't know about others but this is what I face every time. Men I am tired of it.

The biggest problems with the pimples is that there is not much one can do for it. As for me I tried everything right from the multani mitti to branded face packs. But at the end of the day non of them made a big difference. I had to bunk classes, miss parties, say no to movies and always was left out due to pimples. It wasn't that my friends had a problem with it but I didn't had the strength to show my face which was all covered up with pimples.

Although winters were good time but summer was the biggest enemy. More I sweat more my skin became oily and more i had to face the pimple problem. Have covered my face with hairs, wore scarf in summers, used umbrella pointlessly and wrap my face with clothes when needed to over come pimple. And then one day something happened to me. Life was running on its normal robotic pace following the same instructions like every day.  And then this earthquake shook it all completely leaving no pillars and boundaries standing. Mr. Sharma the Owner of the company whom I worked for was the reason of the earthquake. Last night before leaving for my apartment I was called in the boss’s office and was handed over an envelope which said confidential read alone. I opened the envelope and was more than delighted to read the letter which said that I was promoted and was supposed to take the charge of the new office. I was damn exited that I didn’t even care to read the whole letter. Later when I was reading the letter aloud at my apartment near my roomies I was shocked to know that I was promoted but was supposed to take charge of the office not here in the town but in Bangalore.  “Holy Cow” was all I could have uttered. I had no other options but to relocate as soon as possible. Private jobs requires flexible candidate so flexible that they can bend from Jharkhand to Bangalore.

Vacations are always on my mind. I just love travelling. Last evening few of my friend were discussing about an International vacation spot and all of shouted together Melbourne, Australia. I really want to visit this beautiful, breath taking and lively city at least once in my life because a world class vacation is not worthy until you have visited Melbourne, Australia.

Melbourne the capital of Victoria one among the six states of Australia is the vibrant hub of style, sport, culture and dining. Melbourne is the most livable city of the world. The city is a puzzle of hidden lane ways, sumptuous bars, specialty restaurants and many calm and splendid boutiques. It's also where one can witness the culture of the place, sporting arena for big international sports, taste the Vintage wines accompanied with mouthwatering dishes, dance with all your hearts or just have a casual walk in the park and the leafy boulevards.

Let's have a kid's vacation

It’s a good poem where the poetess has described childhood in very beautiful words. When we are child we are carefree, tension free and our life is hustle free. We don’t have to worry about a thing and all we have to do is fun. And if we are talking about fun let me tell you kids love vacations and they go crazy when they are about to have one well my kid does. They really love to spend good time with their parents having all the fun away from school and homework. So if we plan for a vacation we are always conscious that we do not leave even a single stone unturned and we ensure them a good vacation. We choose a good destination for our vacation and by good I mean a place where children can have fun too. Usually we adults choose a destination where we can enjoy to the fullest and leave the kids out but it should be opposite. The destination should be something which amuses the children and if they are happy and if they have fun directly or indirectly we parents enjoy the vacation too.

There are few points we should always keep in mind while we plan a vacation for our kids such as the vacation should be kids friendly, the booking for hotel or resorts and transportation should be arranged before arriving the place, the vacation should be well planned and should be discussed with the kids to ensure their involvement and the kids should be asked to plan for family games and funs together. Let the kids decide on what to eat and where to go for games after all they are on vacation and it will make them happy. Try to spend time together out there during the vacation. Anyways a couple can always have time after the kid sleeps. The parents should keep in mind all the requirements of their kids and should consider their likes and dislikes always. Parents should play small games and keep their kid occupied.   

As for a kid vacation means fun all the time. They add magical sparks to our vacation. They understand well that vacation means a few days away from home yet together with their family. No school, no teachers, no study and no homework.  So they are free of all the above things and just try to live in the moment and that is what makes them happy. The smile and loud laughs enlightens the whole atmosphere. It calms us too and we learn it from them to live a moment forgetting all the work and problems we have. They even enjoy the smallest games played with the parents. And if taken to some special place like an amusement park they add extra battery to the vacation. The excitement level that they hold within themselves is remarkable and that is what makes the parents happy and a vacation successful.

Club Mahindra has planned and started a campaign known as “Teddy travelogues” which is India’s first crowd sourced e magazine where children between ages 4-12 were asked to submit their entries under eight different categories and have arranged good prizes for them too. It was an opportunity for the kids to show their talents and creativeness about holidays. Also it would help us understand better that what have we been missing out that they wanted and what could add extra magical spark to our vacations.
