Make your passion your profession.

Hi Friends
If you are passionate about fashion, style and trends you could be able to turn your hobby into a real full-time profession. There is a wide array of career paths in the world of fashion from design to marketing, but figuring out how you can turn your creative devotion into a successful career is the first step.
Initially, the best thing to do is to build or hone your skills by taking fashion courses at a school that is completely dedicated to fashion, art and design such as Istituto Marangoni. This is important to figure out what you are (or aren’t) good at, to allow yourself to find what type of career in fashion is right for you. Your passion may take you far, but you will get a lot further with the right skill set.
Next, it will surely help to get an internship at a fashion company to gain experience. In the highly competitive market you have to pay your dues before becoming successful and the right internship is always a productive first step.

If you are doing what you love, working very hard for a few years in order to land in your dream job is just a small sacrifice to make, even if that means getting coffee and answering phones at a company.
Another helpful tip is to be bold and take every opportunity that arises. If you have the chance to network with important people in the industry or get your name recognized by a famous designer, do not hesitate for one moment and take it. The most important thing is to be persistent and always have hope for the future.
If you have already chosen to follow a career you love and are passionate about, never forget why you began to follow this dream in the first place! Even if people tell you to grow up and become more practical, keep moving ahead if fashion is your dream and obsession. In this world you have to block out the noise and work hard to accomplish your goals and this is especially true when pursuing a career in fashion.

Go For Pakistani Bridal Style This Season!

Pakistani wedding fashion is too rich and grand to describe in words. The richness of the fabric, the intricacy of the detailing, the embroidery; everything just combines beautifully to give bride and groom the most royal look on earth. Pakistani bridal wear has the essence of its culture and roots, while the fine traditional chikan, sequin, stones, zircon, zardosi, kora or dubka work give new edges to the outfits.

 Sharara- Sharara or gharara is the traditional Pakistani bridal wear for weddings. Filled with wide and intricate zari embroidery, shararas emit royal look and are perfect to be chosen as wedding attire. A long knee length kameez is worn over these very wide bottomed pants which almost resemble a skirt. You can choose different shararas for different wedding functions. Like for mehendi you can go for a green and gold sharara and for the wedding day can have green and red or red and gold sharara. On the Walima day wear some subtle colour like peach or blue. Going grand is the actual word for a Muslim bride, so do not turn up simple! Wear ornately designed dupattas with moti or beads linings for a graceful and majestic look.

 Designer Lehenga- Designers like Deepak Perwani, Asifa, Nabeel and others have taken the excellence of traditional dresses a level higher. The grandeur beauty of a Pakistani designer lehenga is unmatchable. Choose deep shades as the base colour, so that the heavy detailing and embroidery gets perfectly highlighted on it. Colors like purple, magenta, red, maroon or green look extremely magnificent. The dupatta which is another crucial part of the entire attire should be draped elegantly to flaunt the incredible designs. Such luxurious finery makes the wedding more splendid and memorable. You can wear a dupatta in pure gold or beige shade with golden embellishments to make it outshine and if the lehenga choli has a lighter shade with lots of zari or stone work embroidery all over, then dupatta should have a rich plum or maroon shade with equally resplendent designs to complement and balance the look.

 Designer Anarkali Suits- You can also choose to wear designer anarkali suits that are famous both in India and Pakistan right now. These have derived their names and origin from the Mughal style clothing. Anarkali suit have got a very different outlook and appeal. You can wear grand, highly flared, floor-length latest Anarkali suits for a queenly look. The widespread ghera gives enough exposure to the fine detailing and the dupatta can be draped over one shoulder. The head could be adorned in the traditional Muslim style with a jhoomar passa for getting the best bridal look ever!

C:\Users\pci\Desktop\Images\ebsfsk09109-9jun15.jpg

 Lehenga Suits- You can also opt for a lehenga style suit where the anarkali kameez extends till the calf and beneath it a lehenga skirt is worn instead or the usual churidars. It gives a perfectly layered look and has a majestic touch in itself!

C:\Users\pci\Desktop\Images\Indiarush-Online-Shopping-2.jpg

 Long Pakistani Suits- You can also replace the churidars with wide bottomed embroidered Pakistani salwars. Long kameez worn over wide Pakistani salwars along with a dupatta is part of traditional Pakistani look. Going with a designer Pakistani suit crafted with a modern outlook while keeping the ethnicity intact is a wonderful choice.

Tips for Styling Casual Dresses During Winter Months.

Hi Friends !

Don’t move those dresses to the back of your closets just yet! You can still rock your frocks through the winter months with a few strategic tips for staying warm and stylish. For this post, we’re going to look at a few super-cute casual dresses from Lyst's collection and then offer some helpful ideas on how to style them. The best part is that you probably already have most of these accessories in your closets. And if not, then it’s a perfect excuse for a shopping trip!
Are you ready? Let’s get started!

The oversized midi check shirt dress in red from Missguided shown above is the perfect casual dress for layering during the fall and winter months. First and foremost, the flannel plaid pattern is completely on trend and the red and black colors are perfect for the season. Adding a pair of boots is a great start, but don’t forget the tights! A pair of black leggings or tights would look great and serve double duty by keeping your legs warm, too. And if it’s really cold, a long sleeve black turtleneck tucked beneath this dress plus a slouchy knit hat would be perfect finishing touches.

The form-fitting, black-and-white striped midi dress from ASOS shown above is, according to Vogue, one of the hottest neutral combinations from the runways this season. Black and white is everywhere and it’s a great way to get the most out of your wardrobe thanks to its ability to go with just about anything. When wearing this or a similar dress, you can have fun with a playful pop of color. After you slip on your black leggings, wrap your neck and shoulders in a magenta scarf, and cinch your waist with an earth-toned belt to go with your matching boots. Cap it off with your favorite motorcycle jacket or coat for extra warmth and style.

The comfy and cozy red funnel sweater dress from Banana Republic shown above has all of the components for a timeless winter dress, as noted by Harper’s Bazaar , and I agree! This red hue with a touch of orange is the perfect bold color for fall and winter. This thigh grazing dress is already warm, but with a few extra accessories you can be winter-weather ready. Earth-toned knee-high boots and brown leggings would look great, but for an unexpected touch, pair it with distressed skinny jeans and booties. Scarves look great with turtlenecks—spring for a patterned piece for more interest and don’t forget your hat.

Dresses don’t have to be dismissed during the colder months. In fact, they are the perfect excuses for layering and having some unexpected fun with your wardrobe. Leggings, patterned tights, jeans, knee-high boots, wedge booties, and flats are great ways to accessorize your bottom half, while belts, scarves, long sleeve layering shirts, jackets, and hats are the answer for staying toasty up top.

The Perfect Wedding Gown For D-Day

Every bride wishes to have the “perfect” wedding gown to make her wedding special. However it is sensible to follow some simple tips to avoid over spending and getting “exactly” what you always dreamed for.

Determine The Dress Code
You should keep the religious restrictions in mind while shopping for wedding gown. In case the ceremony has been organized at place of worship, enquire if some attire guidelines like covering of shoulders are to be followed.
Set a Price
In case you are certain that you would not be spending huge amounts on your dress, it will be better to concentrate on realistic cost point so that more time can be devoted towards items that can actually be bought. Factors such as cost of alterations, shipping, taxes, veil, lingerie, shoes and jewelry which could add substantially and would also have to be kept in mind.
Be clear about what you want
You should be able to narrow down the dress style by taking cues from the season, venue and time of marriage. Fabrics and the silhouettes which are not suitable for the occasion should be ruled out. Opt for a style that would enhance your shape and get the best discounts from SaveMyPocket. You can also download some wedding looks    for browsing large number of gowns and search for online retailers selling these.
Start Early
You will require six to eight months to get your favorite gown. If adequate time is not catered for, selection of dresses could get restricted and you might take hasty decision. You should cater for eight weeks for alteration of gown. Custom gowns take six to eight months to tailor and one heavily-embellished may take more time.
Take Recommendations
If salesperson brings something for you to try, try it and nothing should be eliminated at a glance. It is possible that you may like something which you had not liked earlier.  Every dress does not look very attractive on the hanger and you need to have open mind.
Book Boutique in Advance
If you contact the boutique earlier and ask for a particular style, it might be in a position to arrange a sample of this gown for you. Prior appointment will ensure that you get undivided attention. However you can get a higher range on gowns online compared to retail outlets and at a much lower price too.
Shop at Right Time
It is advisable to go for shopping on working day during day as consultants would be fresh at that time and would be able to give you personalized service. If you are shopping sample sale, skip it on first day. Avoid taking too many people with you for shopping as this will provide clashing opinions.
Read Fine Print
While ordering gown from boutique, read written contract carefully so that you do not end up with wrong color, size, designer style number, delivery date, measurements, number of fitting and cost of gown etc. You may also order online using Fashionara discount coupons as they can be returned if you do not like the final piece or if it does not fit well.

Cost-Effective Ways to Keep Your Skin Looking Great

Whether it’s beauty ads on the TV, full-page spreads in magazines, or word of mouth from friends, we’re constantly being told that in order to have great skin, we need to be spending out on the ‘best’ (and, not coincidentally, the most expensive) products. These products promise flawless faces, they guarantee they’ll tighten and brighten, and they claim to get rid of even the most stubborn of wrinkles – but do they really work? That’s up for debate. However, what we do know is that it doesn’t need to cost an arm and a leg to give your skin a makeover. Saving money is definitely important to many of us nowadays – and there are lots of resources you can find online to help you organise your home budget and cut down on your spending. Then here are some inexpensive and easy ways to perk up dull, tired skin in no time:

Don’t Wash Too Often (Really!)

Many people believe that washing their face regularly will help keep their skin looking fresh, bright, and pimple-free, but the truth is that washing with too much frequency (and too harshly!) could have the opposite effect. When you wash your face, you’re stripping your skin of essential oils that are needed to keep the skin moisturised. By washing too much, the skin can become very dry, flaky, and itchy – and every time you itch, you’re transferring dirt from your fingers to your face. Dermatologists recommend washing just twice per day – once in the morning and once at night.

Don’t Buy Too Many Expensive Moisturisers

Designer moisturisers in the store can be very expensive, but there is a way to keep your skin soft and supple using inexpensive products that you may already have lying around the house. Studies have found that a mixture of honey, beeswax, and olive oil can work wonders on eczema, and can prevent the growth of the staph virus, which some of us are susceptible too, especially if we haven’t washed our foundation brushes for a long time! Olive oil is often thought to leave the face feeling greasy, but it’s actually a great, natural moisturiser.

Always Remove Makeup Before Bed

We’re all guilty of waking up some mornings with last night’s mascara all over the pillow, but how does this affect our skin? Makeup reduces the skin’s ability to breath, which can have adverse effects if cosmetics are left on for long periods. Studies into the effects have found that moisture levels in the skin can drop by 20 percent overnight, and that skin can age by a whopping 10 years over the course of just one month. To keep your skin looking bright, always remove makeup before going to bed – it takes just 5 minutes and a small amount of makeup remover.

Relax!

Being stressed and tense can have a negative effect on your skin – and can even aggravate existing skin conditions. Take a few minutes each day to de-stress and relax – perhaps spend a few minutes doing yoga, stretching, or meditating.

Helping Your Home Budget

Sticking to a strict budget when you’re striving to keep yourself, your home, and your family clean and healthy can be challenging – there’s always something you need. However, you can really cut down on spending by opting for simpler, more natural ways to take care of yourself. Rather than paying out for the latest miracle creams, try these easy methods and see if you can give your skin a fantastic makeover, without the price tag!

Four Ways to Get the Most Out of Your Wardrobe

We all know what it’s like to feel as though you’ve run out of clothes to wear – but most of the time, this has more to do with not knowing how to make the most of what you have than an actual lack of outfits in your wardrobe. Take a look at these five simple tips for organising and looking after your clothes, and take a new approach to everyday dressing.

Learn to store smartly

A closet full of clothes doesn’t help you at all if you can’t find what you’re looking for. If you’ve been struggling to find your favourite dress or go-to shirt lately, then it might be time to clear out your closet in its entirety – but only to put everything back in again. Take everything out of your wardrobe and sort your clothes according to style, season, and fabric. Next, try to figure out the best way to make the most out of your wardrobe space. Knitwear should always be folded, and delicate garments should be hung up, but these are the only two storage rules that you should definitely follow. Apart from that, feel free to get creative with how your store clothes – no two wardrobes are alike, after all.Do try to make sure you don’t end up tucking away clothes in the depth of your wardrobe, though – you’re more likely to wear things if you can see them every day. It might be worth investing in one or two clothing rails as well. Not only will you be able to have all your favourite clothes on display, but colourful dresses and shirts neatly hung up on a rack can also make for lovely room decoration.

Do your washing

You shouldn’t wash your clothes too often as this can harm the fabric, but once your laundry is dirty, don’t put off the washing for too long. If you stay on top of your laundry, you’ll have more clothes available to wear and won’t struggle to find a clean pair of socks towards the end of the week. Find out which laundry sorting system works best for you – if you separate your laundry even before washing it, you’ll save a lot of time and won’t accidentally end up washing your delicate lacey underwear in a hot wash with your dirty jersey sweaters. Always check the label if you’re not sure how to wash a garment. Doing your laundry effectively is an art that is worth learning more about if you care about your clothes, so if you find yourself struggling with this task, there is plenty of information available online to help you become a laundry pro.

Get rid of clothes you don’t need

If you’ve figured out the perfect clothes storage system, and settled into an effective laundry routine, it’s time to get rid of the clothes you don’t need to save time and space. If you haven’t worn an item in the last six months, then you’re probably not going to miss it much if you get rid of it. Throw out any old, worn-out items too, and if your style has changed a lot over the last few years, it might be time to dig out those once-loved items and get rid of anything you can’t picture yourself wearing anytime soon.

It’s always a good idea to think about potential outfits, too – if you have no idea how to combine a shirt with any of your other clothes, it might be better to rid of it rather than let it waste away in your closet. Make a pile of everything you have decided to throw out, and figure out whether friends or family will be interested in thee items. If not, fold the clothes, place them in bags, and help then find a loving new home by donating them to charity.

Step out of your comfort zone

Do you always catch yourself reaching for the same clothes over and over again? Do you have a few wardrobe staples that you feel helpless without, and do you neglect the bolder and braver parts of your wardrobe? If you’re guilty of dressing yourself out of habit rather than style – but would like to look a bit different once in a while – then it might be time to change your attitude towards your closet. Keep your favourites close, but combine them with items you don’t wear that often, and ask yourself in the morning: “How do I feel today, and what would I like to look like today?”

It’s also a good idea to keep an eye out for outfit inspiration wherever you go, and think about whether you can recreate great looks with what you have available in your own wardrobe. If you approach the act of getting dressed in the morning from a more playful angle, you might find yourself wearing the slightly more unusual pieces you once left abandoned in your wardrobe.

Five simple beauty tricks to take your beauty routine to the next level

You probably know you way around hair and beauty products by now, and might have even established something like a beauty routine for yourself. But the good news is that you never stop learning when it comes to taking care of yourself – there is always something you can improve and do better to take your beauty routine to the next level. We’ve compiled a list of five simple beauty tricks – featuring cotton buds, tinted moisturiser, and doing your laundry – that you might or might not have known about; either way, you should definitely consider incorporating these in your beauty routine to step up your game.

Swap your foundation for tinted moisturiser this summer

Do you have a go-to foundation? Most women do, but even if your foundation is a staple in your daily routine, you might want to mix things up for summer, opting for lighter coverage to let your skin breathe. Tinted moisturiser is a great alternative to liquid foundation – since it provides hydration as well as light coverage, it really brings out the best in your skin. Plus, most tinted moisturisers also provide you with SPF, which is great for summer. You can also mix your own – just combine your moisturiser with a bit of foundation.

Give your hair a rest

Your hair might already be a bit dry if it’s been exposed to the sun. That’s why it’s important to keep your hair routine simple and natural and cut down on washing your hair, which can strip your hair of essential nutrients and oils. Opt for dry shampoo instead if you have oily hair and need to buy yourself time between washes – your hair will thank you!

Keep it clean

Often neglected, clean make-up brushes are essential for a clear skin – after all, you don’t want any bacteria on your face. That’s why cleaning your brushes needs to become a fixed part of your beauty routine too. Every other week, use some dish detergent or baby shampoo to wash them and rinse them under the running tap until the water runs clear.

Make your bed

Since we are already talking about keeping your face clean – it’s not just dirty make-up brushes that you need to look out for, but also dirty pillowcases, too! These can transmit oil and dirt and sabotage your aim to have flawless skin. So remember to wash your bedding regularly to avoid breakout and blemishes – sure, doing your laundry properly isn’t the only factor that will determine how your skin will look, but it shouldn’t be underestimated either.

Fix it with cotton buds

Do you like a classic cat eye? If you’re a fan of eyeliner too, you will know how challenging the art of the perfect wing can be. But just because you’ve made a small mistake, doesn’t mean you have to remove the eyeliner and start all over again. If you have a cotton bud ready, simply dip it in some make-up remover for precise and easy corrections – and use it in the end to clean up your work. This will save you time and make the perfect line even easier.

Monsoon Season: Fashion Tips for Men

Although there seems to be an endless array of fashion-guides out there, not many of them appear to cater for the style-savvy man of today. When compiling these top 10 fashion tips for monsoon season, we’ve combined the three things fashionable men care about at this time of year: aesthetics, practicality, and comfort – but don’t worry, we don’t believe that you should have to compromise on any one of these to look good this season.

Lightweight Fabrics

Lightweight fabrics, such as polyester, or natural fibres, like cotton, are both ideal for monsoon weather because they’re extra-breathable, keeping your skin cool. This is great when it comes to doing your laundry, as you won’t have to wait as long for them to dry.
With the torrential downpours and mud splatters that are virtually impossible to avoid during monsoon season, we recommend avoiding white garments wherever possible. If wearing a light shirt for work, cover up with a thin cotton V-neck sweater, or a cagoule if the temperature is too oppressive. To avoid colour seepage, add a colour protecting detergent to your washing machine when it’s laundry time.

For those who cannot face the idea of going without jeans for months on end, stretch denim could be the answer. Spandex is added to the denim, making it dry quickly without losing durability.

Avoid delicate fabrics like wool as much as you can – if your clothes do succumb to a heavy downpour, you may need a little more savvy than you’re used to, just to get your garment clean again without causing damage.

If you do have an issue, luckily there is a wealth of information about cleaning different fabrics and removing stains online. Check out an official resource, like a laundry brand website, for reliable tips.

Day-to-day

This season has seen a huge retro 80s revival, with vivid blues, greens and yellows all back with a vengeance. Mix things up by adding rustic, earthy tones to stand out from the crowd, and above all, keep it simple.

Tops

Despite the slight lull in temperature, brightly coloured t-shirts are the perfect complement to monsoon weather. Go for a tailored fit for a smarter look, or stick with classic off-the-peg examples to stay cool.

Bottoms

Especially brave fashon addicts can embrace the trend for classic 70s-style shorts paired with a polo shirt. Those who prefer to keep covered up can take a less extreme approach with turned-up trousers, which benefit from not trailing through the mud like their long-legged counterparts.

Jackets

Windcheaters and waterproof jackets are a necessity in monsoon season, but the choice of modern styles out there means that you don’t have to sacrifice style. Breathable fabrics such as Gore-
Tex are ideal for the warm, muggy weather and are sure to keep you dry on the way to work, and comfortable whatever the temperature.

Footwear

Unless it’s been properly sealed, leather isn’t the most water-resistant fabric and (generally speaking) should be avoided. Sneakers are a great option – make sure they’re machine-washable – while flip-flops provide the ultimate breathability for your feet, but lack the sturdy construction of other designs. With style considerations taken care of, check that your shoe of choice has a thick sole to handle any wet terrain you are likely to encounter.

Three Essentials

If you haven’t already got them, here are three must-haves for the monsoon months:

- A fold-up umbrella

Practical and portable, fold-up umbrellas come in every style under sun, and can be easily stored in a bag. Opt for a bamboo-handled example for a classic, gentlemanly look, or a translucent PVC number to go with your waterproofs.

- A waterproof messenger bag

Perhaps the ultimate accessory in any season, the messenger bag is a shoulder staple for men across the world. Use it to easily and safely store electronic devices like tablets and work documents.

- Scarf

No longer the preserve of female fashion, scarves go with almost anything. A checked scarf can make an edgy counterpoint to a striped t-shirt, and your neck will also appreciate being protected from those monsoon winds!

Why Good Clothing is Important for Men in Professional World

You are always going to be treated the way you leave your first impression on someone. Said by many experienced and is also true in its context. However, it’s your clothes that add a lot to your first impression; a man is judged by his clothes and its first impression lasts way too long. It may be possible that your office may have a business-professional dress code; even if it doesn’t have one you should be dressed up to it. From top businessmen to employees every professional always wears a professional outfit; and those who don’t become a laughing stock.

Here are some tips for men on how to dress professionally:

1. Always wear a well ironed outfit. A tailored suit is a must for both men and women and adds really good charm if you carry it well.

2. Opt for darker colors especially navy blue and woolen grays; avoid pastel colors such as yellow and orange, green is a strict no-no for men in professional environment.

3. Always dress upwards i.e. from shoe to collar. Match your colors properly; for example don’t wear white socks on black shoes.

4. Groom both your bottoms and tops - as important are the shoes as are the hairs. Cut your hair properly and carry a decent hairstyle; facial hair should be taken proper care.

5. Use mild cologne; your cologne should not give others a kick in the head. Don’t hesitate in spending extra money on cologne; they are a part of your outfit.

6. Be hygienic; take a shower, cut your nails properly and carry a neat handkerchief. Sprinkle few sprays of cologne on the handkerchief too.

Given, above is just a small list of professional clothing, else it’s a very wide thing. Just stick to the basics, don’t go for fashionable outfits, they are a strict no-no. Don’t mix fashion with style; wearing a three piece tailored suite is style, whereas wearing a t-shirt under a coat is fashion.

Importance of professional clothing:

It can be really harmful to you when your client enters your office dressed in a suit and you’re greeting him in casuals; it shows incompetency and immaturity. Your dressing shows your professionalism and your seriousness towards work. A hygienic and aromatic person has a good impression on others viz. an untidy person.
A man should dress like a man and not like a boy; makes a big difference professionally.
However the difference is not much and a very thin line can be drawn when it comes to calling a dressing manly or boyish. Choice of colors is a big thing and so chooses your colors wisely. The bright pastel colors make you look pretty immature. The more mature you present yourself the better impression you impose in front of others.

Whenever somebody first meets you, they analyze you from top to bottom; any glitch in your clothing noticed by them can make you feel nervous. Try to dress as complete as possible; don’t leave any possibilities of blanks. Carry proper matching accessories too. You can’t carry sports watch with a suit; it should be a complete professional bracelet watch. It shows that you are a time bound person. Follow professional dressing rules and create good impression and persona.

Looking After Your Little Black Dress.

Party season may well be over for another year, but that doesn’t mean your trusty little black dress should be consigned to the back of the wardrobe. As Giveaway Dose have explained recently, a good LBD is ultra-versatile, and can be an essential part of your winter wardrobe – simply couple with a patterned tweed jacket for a look that’s cute, sexy, and warm, all at the same time! However, if you’re planning on wearing your LBD on a regular basis, you need to know how to keep it looking its very best. Luckily, when laundry day rolls around, there are a few little tips and tricks you can employ to ensure your little black dress stays vibrant and beautiful, keeping you feeling great all day long.

Keep the Color Looking Bold

If you’re prone to causing stains on your clothing, black garments are ideal as they hide all manner of smudges and marks. However, black can, and will, fade in the washing machine if you wash without care. When it comes to keeping your LBD looking black, rather than a faded gray color, here’s what you need to do:

Salt Soak

There are varying degrees of success with salt soaks, but many women report that they do work – and by utilizing only natural ingredients, you can be sure that the solution won’t ruin your dress in any way. Fill a basin with cold water, and add around a cup full of salt - regular table salt will do, there’s no need to use sea or kosher salt. Soak your dress for around 30 minutes. It’s said that the sodium essentially helps to seal the color into the fabric, reducing the risk of fading.

Wash Inside Out

By simply turning your LBD inside out before popping in the wash, you can really help reduce the amount of color that runs from the material. When you wash clothing inside out, the water in the drum doesn’t directly hit the dyed fabric on the exterior, so it remains looking vibrant for much longer.

Keep the Temperature Down

Even if your LBD is heavily stained, never use hot water in the washing machine, as the heat can encourage color fading - it can actually melt the dye! For little black dresses, a cold wash is always recommended. However, if you’re concerned about dirt or germs, you can opt for a warm wash – no more than 30 degrees Celsius.

Don’t Bleach

If your little black dress is badly stained, don’t be tempted to use bleach. While this will remove the stain, it will also remove the color, leaving you with an unsightly white mark on your dress. Instead, apply a small amount of liquid detergent and leave it for 15 minutes to allow the product to break down the particles of the stain. Massage the detergent in (or gently scrub it with an old toothbrush) before washing as normal.

Take Care of Netting or Lace Sections

While some little black dresses are very simple and stylish, others include intricate detailing which really adds a wow factor. Netting, mesh, and lace sections are relatively common, and should be washed with care. The main issue with delicate fabrics is that the washing machine can weaken the material, causing rips and tears. Many women opt to hand wash these delicate fabrics, but it’s really not necessary. Instead, use your washing machine’s gentle cycle, which spins slowly, helping to protect the garment. You may also want to consider purchasing a wash bag from your local store. These inexpensive mesh bags protect your lace dresses from the internal workings of the washing machine, while still allowing water to penetrate the garment, getting it fresh and clean.

No woman can live without that trusty LBD in her wardrobe. Great for party season, winter style, and summer sun, the little black dress really is a true essential. However, it’s so important to look after your LBD to ensure it stays looking smart all year round. It’s easy to do – just follow the tips above and you’ll find your LBD really does stand the test of time!

Step by Step Makeup Guidelines to get yourself all Glam up for an Indian Saree :)

Hello everyone

A very Helpful Guest Blog Post from a very dear friend Surbhi Agarwal
(Full step by step simple make up guidelines)
 -
In India, Saree is known as the most beautiful attire and the
traditional cultural Dress, so here I am creating a look today which
is inspired by the same theme and I will try to give it two quick
styles, One is a traditional meet trendy and another is fit for simple
stylish theme.
Every Indian girl wants to wear a saree at some day of her life but to
strike the right cord of the look is equally important. So I am trying
to create this look which i always fantasist about. Let’s hope for the
best –

I hope you gonna try this so amazing look and especially when it is
just a super easy process to achieve this look. Here is it how one can
get it done –
FACE- Step 1 to 6
1-      Start with Lakme CC cream. The new stylist is just my first choice
:- ) You see..
2-      Squeeze the tube and take out some CC cream.
3-      Dab the CC Cream to face and neck.
4-      Blend it on face by patting in (use sponge or fingertips )
5-      Blend it well on neck area too. Give me High five and just look at
the pic no. 6 (I am loving it )
6-      Now your face is set with help of perfect stylist which combines
the goodness of your daily skin cream with just the right touch of
makeup. And that gonna bring a smile on your face now.

Eyes- Step 7 to 13

7-       Use LAKME Eye Color Quartet Desert Rose
8-      Highlight the shape of the eye by drawing it with the Copper Shade.
9-      Try and give some extra effort on the crease to give it a proper
shade. Also apply the shade Gold with the help of brush and blend it
well.
10-     Balance the both eyes and give them the life with the help of
LAKME Eye color Quartet Deseret rose.
11-     Smudge the color on the lower lid also. Highlight a little near to
the brow line and blend it well.
12-     Indian eyes are so beautiful that a touch of kajal can enhance
their beauty so just use LAKME Eyeconic Kajal near to waterline of the
eyes and feel good to get that always wanted look.
13-     Apply Lakme Fantasy Shimmer Eyeliner to experience that
revolutionary change in your eyes.
You will be amazed to find that how it gives life to your eyes.

Lips 14 to 16

14-     Use LAKME 9 to 5 Lip color to make a great impression that lasts
long.MM1-Rose Management.
15-     As the name says, it is a beautiful Rose shade which is going to
add that perfect feminine essence to the whole look.
16-     So here you are done with the makeup. Just take a look at it and
see if anything needed to correct or add.

HAIRS
Traditional meet Trendy 17-18
17-     Style your hair by just leaving a side partition on left hand
side. Place a small maang tika which gives a traditional feel and put
your ear accessories on.
18-     You can add some style to your look by adding a beaded hairband in
the partition area which gives a very unique look.

HAIRS (Simple and Stylish)
19-     Simply Place the hair on your right shoulder. Clutch them nicely
and use your beaded hairband to create an identical unique look which
is a super easy and instant style. Place a bindi which is totally
optional, I wanted to see myself in one so I tried it here :- )

This is a very easy way to get a pretty Indian saree look which I am
sure is gonna get liked by many ladies out there. So just say
CHEERS!!!

Thank you so much Surbhi for this lovely post
